The aluminium landing net R from jmc is extremely well thought out and its clever details make it very practical and pleasant to use. At the rear end of the ergonomically shaped plastic handle there is a magnetic holder with a carabiner on a fabric strap. With this carabiner, the landing net can be quickly and easily attached to your fly vest. As soon as you need it, you can release it from the magnetic holder with one pull and the landing net is free in your hand. As soon as you move the handle back to the counterpart, the strong magnet holds the landing net securely again.
The fine-meshed, soft, knotless and rubberised net is gentle on the sensitive skin of the fish, as the mucus layer is not damaged. This makes this wading landing net particularly suitable for catch & release.
It is also much easier to free your flies from a rubberised net. This is an advantage especially when you fish with several flies or use flies with barbs. In addition, a rubberised net does not absorb water, so it dries very quickly and can be put in the boot without any problems, as it does not drip all over and does not give off any unpleasant odours.
Due to the low weight and the foam brims sewn into the inside of the frame, the wading net R floats. It is available in 3 different sizes and thus offers you the right landing net size for a wide range of fishing situations and expected fish:
