The EGGSTASY CHENILLE is a very innovative 10mm thick synthetic cord that in water takes on an almost "gelatinous" and very attractive appearance. It is mainly used to make large nymphs and streamers. It was born to imitate the pasture that is given to the fish in sport fishing ponds but the uses that can be made of it are really numerous. For example, it can be used effectively to tie the body of boobies or wooly buggers, or to tie imitations of fish eggs.

Description

The EGGSTASY CHENILLE was born in England, in the world of lake fly fishing competitions. This fly tying material is truly innovative and the effect it has once wet is very attractive because the special synthetic fibres with which it is covered take on an almost "gelatinous" appearance, making the fish believe they are facing something alive.

The idea with which this fly tying material was born is to imitate the pasture pellets that are commonly used in sport fishing ponds. Thanks to its effectiveness, EGGSTASY CHENILLE is not only used in fly fishing, but also in all those pond fishing techniques that make use of pasturage pellets, and actually replace them.

Although it was created for this purpose, EGGSTASY CHENILLE is used with excellent results to tie many different types of dressing, mainly large nymphs and streamers. Some artificial flies on which this fly tying material is used effectively are boobies and wooly buggers.
