The generous cut-outs, perforations and milled holes are not only due to the modern design. This has also kept the weight of this fly reel low, which makes it pleasantly light and thus allows comfortable and relaxed casting and fishing. In addition, your fly line dries very quickly on the airy spool.
The large inner diameter of the spool (large arbor) reliably minimises the memory effect of your fly line, so that it remains curl-free even after a long time on the reel and can therefore be cast well and without great effort due to the minor friction. In addition, a larger spool diameter also helps you when retrieving the fly line, as you reel in more fly line per spool revolution and can thus retrieve faster and more easily maintain direct contact with the fish.
The fact that this fly reel is nevertheless robust, and durable is due to the fact that it has been milled from a solid 6061-T7 aluminium block. The surface is anodised in an elegant grey tonality and thus protected.
The VIPER fly reel is equipped with a powerful, fully encapsuled and therefore waterproof drag system that also protects against dust and dirt, so you can always rely one hundred percent on the performance of your drag. It has a micro adjustment and can be finely dosed via an easy-grip adjustment wheel.
The VIPER fly reel can be quickly and easily switched from left-hand to right-hand operation and comes in a neoprene reel bag. Spare spools are available separately for this fly reel.
