The consistency of GLUVAR THICK is fairly dense, which makes it easier to apply to the artificial fly because you can apply and shape the lacquer as you wish, creating the desired thickness without it dripping onto the work table. To optimise this process, you can use the handy applicator pin built into the cap to apply the lacquer to the fly while continuing to spin the lure.
If you need a more liquid consistency, simply add a few drops of thinner (not included).
GLUVAR THICK lacquer from Hotfly is mainly used for making chironomas and perdigons.
The drying time is relatively short, about 15 minutes. Obviously, the more you dilute the lacquer, the longer this time will be. For best results, it is preferable to apply a second coat of lacquer and let the fly dry for at least 1 hour.
We recommend storing the tins tightly sealed, away from sunlight and heat sources.
