SYNTETIC PEACOCK DUBBING is a synthetic material designed to replace peacock herl. It has the same reflexes and lustre as its natural counterpart, but the advantage is that it is much stronger. The fibres are thin and soft, allowing you to make very compact dubbing strand with ease. It is commonly used to tie bodies and thoraxes of dry flies, wet flies and nymphs and can be tied very compactly or more fluffily to give volume and movement to your artificial flies.
