LIGHT AND COMFORTABLE
The KAITUM is Guideline's lightest wading boot at approx. 795g. Ideal for all those fly fishers who value lightness above all else. If you only need your wading gear moderately all year round and the terrain is not too difficult, then the KAITUM wading boot is just right for you. Instead, if you fish very often and on waters with challenging terrain, we would rather recommend our Made in Italy wading boots.
The KAITUM wading boots have many interesting features in addition to their light weight. The robust nylon material they are made of dries quickly and does not absorb water. The inside of the wading boots is lined with Lycra. The toe and heel area, as critical points, have been reinforced with abrasion-resistant rubber. This prevents the upper material of the wading boot from being damaged and wearing out prematurely in rough terrain.
The EVA midsole guarantees maximum comfort, even on uneven ground, thanks to its cushioning properties. The sole is made of rubber and has a good grip and increased durability compared to a felt sole. However, we recommend that you fit the included spikes to increase grip on all types of surfaces.
With the KAITUM wading boot, the Scandinavian company Guideline also shows its environmentally conscious side and has used neither PVC nor fluorocarbons in this product. In addition, recycled cardboard boxes are used for the packaging of the KAITUM wading boots.
